What the drive from Izmir to Çanakkale is like
Çanakkale lies roughly 320 kilometres from Izmir along the North Aegean corridor. The journey takes 3.5 to 4 hours depending on traffic, and the Edremit bay stretch is the most scenic part of the road.
In summer, traffic can build up around the bay. We therefore plan the departure hour together, and a break at a suitable stop is added on request.
